3rd through 5th - 11:00-11:40
1st and 2nd - 11:10-11:50
Fair entry forms will be accepted tomorrow, September 7th due to the school closure today.
We will still have our cross country meet at Camp Takula today.
Student workers should be at the camp by 12 pm.
High school runners should arrive at 2 pm.
Junior High runners should arrive at 3 pm.
Runners who need to pick up their uniforms and shoes, should come by the school now, or make arrangements for coaches to bring to the camp.
High school football practice will still be held at 3 pm.
Attention Parents:
School will be cancelled today, Wednesday, September 6th due to a city water leak. The city has informed us that the water will be off for an extended amount of time. If you have already dropped your children off, please come pick them up.

We have great news for Chester ISD taxpayers! Due to tax rate compression and the potential passage of an increase in the homestead exemption, Chester ISD taxpayers will see their tax increase as a result of the bond issue greatly reduced compared to the presented tax rate at the bond information meetings.

ATTENTION ELEMENTARY GRANDPARENTS:
Join us for lunch on Grandparents Day, Thursday, September 7th. Lunch times will be as follows:

We will serve chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, a biscuit and sweet/unsweet tea. Cost of the lunch will be $4.50.

Beef and Dairy cattle entry forms and money are due to Mrs. Bendy by September 1st. Home Economics entry forms and money are due to Mrs. Bendy by September 6th. Checks should be made out to Tyler County Fair.
In observance of Labor Day, Monday, September 4th, there will be NO SCHOOL.

September 29th is no longer a half day for students. Students will not come to school that day. Staff will have a professional development day.
