ATTENTION TYLER COUNTY FAIR PARTICIPANTS:
Beef and Dairy cattle entry forms and money are due to Mrs. Bendy by September 1st. Home Economics entry forms and money are due to Mrs. Bendy by September 6th. Checks should be made out to Tyler County Fair.

In observance of Labor Day, Monday, September 4th, there will be NO SCHOOL.

Pep Rally Themes are as follows:

9/22 - Safari
10/12 - Purple and Gold (Homecoming Bonfire)
10/20 - Pink Out
**Students may dress up for each of these days. Dress code must be followed. No face paint. No masks.

Updated School Calendar
September 29th is no longer a half day for students. Students will not come to school that day. Staff will have a professional development day.


There will be no early morning JH Football practice tomorrow, August 18th.

FISHING SCHEDULE


There is a Lamar University Dual Credit Program deadline tomorrow! Make sure you've checked your email, gotten signed up for the Lamar University portals, and make your payments! If you're signed up for Fall 2023 dual credit courses, please ensure you know the Fall 2023 deadlines.


PARENTS will be allowed to come into the High School foyer for Back to School pictures. PTO has provided a Welcome Back to School balloon arch. Let's Go Yellowjackets!! It's going to be a great year!!!

ATTENTION PARENTS
Pre-K and Kindergarten parents will be the only parents allowed to walk students into school tomorrow. Those parents will be allowed into the HUG zone in the cafeteria and will give your hugs and kisses there. Thursday and Friday, parents will not be allowed to walk students in.

REMINDER: Meet the Teacher is tonight from 5 to 6:30 pm. All parents and students should enter through the High School glass doors. Elementary students may bring school supplies. High school students may pick up chromebooks, schedules, and parking tags. All registration MUST be turned in for students to start school on Wednesday.

Lunch Applications will be available at Meet the Teacher on August 7th from 5 to 6:30 pm.

STUDENT DRIVERS
Any student who wishes to drive on campus must provide copies of their driver's license and insurance. Driving permits will not be issued until copies have been provided to the school. Students have until August 11th to provide copies. After that date, students will no longer be allowed to drive on campus. Students may bring these items to be copied at Meet the Teacher on August 7th, from 5 pm to 6:30 pm.
