Over the summer we will periodically look back and highlight varying events, successes, etc. from the 22-23 school year. These photos are from when the 8th grade science classes partnered up and created a design that would protect their egg from cracking when dropped from a variety of heights. They used the announcer’s stand and dropped from the 4th stair, the 7th stair, and the very top. Each student was given a budget of $20,000 to spend at the “store”. The name of the game was to make something that will keep the egg from cracking while spending the least amount!

In mid-May, Kaleigh traveled to Austin to compete at the state level within the UIL Science Contest. We are extremely proud to say that Kaleigh placed 18th at the state level! THAT IS TOP 5% IN THE STATE! We are so proud of this young woman and all of her accomplishments! Kaleigh, we can’t wait to see what you do next year!
