JH and HS track practices for the upcoming week are as follows:
Thursday, Feb 22nd - 4:30 pm to 6pm
Friday, Feb 23rd - 9 am to 11 am
Students will meet at the school and travel by bus to the Corrigan track.
Students will be out of school Monday, February 19th - Friday, February 23rd for Winter Break! School resumes Monday February 26th. Have a great break!!!

Pre-K, Kinder and 1st grade students have been working hard to create Valentines cards for the local nursing homes.

Dri Fit options for girls playoff shirts have been added. Orders are still needed today before noon.
We are taking orders until 11am tomorrow to get the girl’s basketball playoff shirts in on time. No late orders will be taken. Order forms will be sent home with players today. Go Jackets!

There will be a Junior class meeting (students and parents) Thursday, February 8th at 6:00 pm in Mrs. Read's classroom. This meeting is in regards to prom.
UIL announced realignment for the next two school years. There are some familiar faces and some new faces we are excited to compete against in the coming seasons!

Quick update. There is only 1 Jr High girls game this evening. Jr High boys will play after that. Just found out. I apologize for any inconvenience.

Chester ISD will have a normal start tomorrow, Wednesday, January 17th. JV basketball boys will play in Spurger at 4:30, followed by varsity girls and varsity boys.
HS Basketball games tomorrow against Spurger will be moved to Wednesday, 1/17/24. We will post game time information once confirmed. We may have afternoon practice after we evaluate roads.
Chester ISD will be closed Tuesday, January 16th, 2024. We don’t expect temperatures to get above freezing until mid-day Tuesday. With the recent precipitation today we will act with caution. As of now the basketball games will still be played at Spurger with JV starting at 5:00 p.m. if the roads are not safe we will discuss with Spurger ISD and make a decision on moving the games to the next available date.
Due to increasing weather concerns, Chester ISD has made the decision to delay the start of school on Tuesday, January 16th until 9:50 am. Buses will run 2 hours later than usual and no breakfast will be served. If changes are necessary, we will update via website, social media, and all call.
